For decades, the global fashion industry has relied on traditional leather, PVC, and petroleum-based synthetics — materials that have contributed significantly to environmental damage and unsustainable production.

At the same time, many sustainable alternatives entering the market lack the design sophistication that defines true fashion. ANOVYA exists to bridge this gap.

It Began With a Deeper Mission

The idea of ANOVYA did not begin with products. Initially, the founders explored developing and manufacturing sustainable leather materials themselves — meeting with experts at institutions like the Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) in Chennai.

It became clear that large-scale sustainable leather manufacturing still required significant capital, complex infrastructure, and further refinement before becoming commercially viable.

So the founders made an important decision — instead of waiting for the ecosystem to evolve, they chose to build the demand for sustainable fashion first.

Sometimes the most effective way to transform an industry is not only through technology — but through changing what people choose to wear and admire.

Through his work in prefab construction, Sahil has been closely involved in systems that promote efficient material usage, reduced construction waste, and environmentally responsible building practices.

This exposure to sustainable industrial processes shaped his belief that innovation and responsible material use can transform traditional industries.

With ANOVYA, Sahil aims to apply this mindset to the fashion world — creating products that combine design excellence with environmental consciousness.

His vision is to build a brand that demonstrates how sustainable materials can evolve into premium lifestyle products admired by modern consumers.
