At the same time, many sustainable alternatives entering the market often lack the design sophistication and desirability that define true fashion products.
ANOVYA exists to bridge this gap.

Our Journey
The idea of ANOVYA did not begin with products — it began with a deeper mission.
In the early stages, the founders initially explored the possibility of developing and manufacturing sustainable leather materials themselves. The goal was to build the foundation of the industry by producing innovative alternatives to traditional leather.
Extensive research and discussions were carried out with experts and institutions working in material innovation. This included meetings with the Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) in Chennai, one of India’s leading institutions for leather technology.
However, during this exploration it became clear that large-scale sustainable leather manufacturing still faced several challenges. The technology required significant capital investment, complex infrastructure, and further refinement before it could become commercially viable.
At this point, the founders made an important strategic decision.
Instead of waiting for the entire ecosystem to evolve, they chose to build the demand for sustainable fashion first.
Rather than producing materials and hoping brands would adopt them, ANOVYA decided to become the brand that leads the change.
By creating beautiful, premium accessories using sustainable materials, the brand aims to influence consumer perception and demonstrate that sustainability can exist at the highest level of design and desirability.
Because sometimes the most effective way to transform an industry is not only through technology — but through changing what people choose to wear and admire.

Through his work in prefab construction, Sahil has been closely involved in systems that promote efficient material usage, reduced construction waste, and environmentally responsible building practices.
This exposure to sustainable industrial processes shaped his belief that innovation and responsible material use can transform traditional industries.
With ANOVYA, Sahil aims to apply this mindset to the fashion world — creating products that combine design excellence with environmental consciousness.

With over 13 years of experience in marketing and brand development, EteTTY brings a deep understanding of how brands shape consumer behaviour and influence markets.
Over the years, she has closely observed how the global fashion industry operates — including the ethical and environmental challenges that often remain hidden behind fast-moving consumer trends.
This perspective inspired her to contribute towards building a brand that represents a more responsible and forward-looking approach to fashion.
